We recently returned from our Colorado vacation.... one of the highlights of the trip for me was visiting an Alpaca Farm in Granby, Colorado! It was a unique experience in an absolutely beautiful setting! This Alpaca farm is a small business operation that is truly a labor of love! They have named each one of their Alpacas! Linda and Nancy two of the owners were a delight to talk to! They made us feel at home and did their best to explain to us everything in the process of what they do to process the fiber into yarn! In the front of the business is a yarn store with all of their awesome yarns! Talk about gorgeous stuff! We of course had to bring home just a few skeins! If you are ever out in Colorado make sure you stop by
Lonesome Stone Natural Fiber Mill... If you are a knitter the only thing that will hurt will be your wallet! ;)
