The June Bag of the Month is designed by Chris W. Designs and honestly she is the one who got me into this.... I bought a pattern off of her website and saw the advertisement.... Her patterns are great and full of pictures! This is the City Slicker Bag and she will have the pattern for sale sometime in July! I love it! I will be making me one in another color soon!
Here is the June Bag of the Month....
Been a busy week, my sweet little 2 1/2 year old grandson stuck something up his nose (a piece of a styrofoam airplane) and after a trip to the ER with no success of getting it out he had to have minor surgery to get it out.... I babysat for the rest of the siblings one day.... Then Thursday my youngest daughter and her family traveled to see the "sister" and nothing this momma/nana likes better than to see all of them together so we traveled again and celebrated 2 birthdays with them and today we are traveling again to celebrate one of the birthdays a second time. The 7 kids had so much fun together, one family is city kids and the other family are farm kids... so the city kids traveled to the farm and they apparently had a blast! It was good to see my daughters having a terrific visit!!!! Their daddy/Grandpa would of been so proud of all of them, I know without a doubt Poppa Gary is smiling down from Heaven!!!!!
You've done it again!!! another beautiful bag. You thought you'd be behind from the start but you've done well to finish them all. I've still only made one. Where does the time go. Good to hear the family had a nice time together. Your poor grandson. I know what that's like becasue my daughter did something like that when she was tiny luckily though I managed to get it out with tweezers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Maria! I almost didn't even join the BOM thinking I couldn't make the deadline, but I did... even with taking a detour on other patterns! I have heard all kinds of stories this past week about what kids have stuck in their ears and noses! This one actually claimed his brother did it... who knows? Kids they sure think of the darndest things! Nancy
DeleteYour City Slicker bag turned out great. I tested this bag for Christine in April and have been using mine ever since. I recently made a wallet to match my bag. I love how it opens up so wide. I plan on making one someday too. Ha ha I just read your Award Free Blog button...so true.
ReplyDeleteDaryl, I do like this pattern and just got some fabric yesterday so I could make a fun summer print for myself! Nancy
