A day etched in my heart and mind forever.... Renal Cancer took his life but Not the memories of the wonderful, husband, father and friend that he was....

He may be gone but he lives on in our hearts and minds forever! He has missed out on so much.... I have tried my best to keep his memory alive by talking about him to the grandkids. They sometimes talk as if they knew him! He would of loved them all!

He would of loved ....
* Abigail's Spunky Spirit and kind heart
* Jilane's sassafrassness and laughter
* Capri's sweetness and tenderheart
* Jagger's all boyness
* Otto's dimples and cuteness
* Jaxton's little waddle
* Jamen's sweet spirit
* And somehow I think he already knows our Bulgarian grandson we haven't met yet!

 He would be proud of our daughters and son in laws and the fine parents they are! You don't/can't just erase a lifetime you shared and treasured with someone!

I am loving the crepe paper.........  burlap is next!

Ruffles Everywhere!

I will never look at crepe paper the same again!  I am home today and had plans to do other things (like mow the grass)  but I laid my eyes on this crepe paper and my sewing machine was already out......  need I say more?

So I started ruffling white and thought I might as well add some ribbon since I have enough to last the next ten years.... (unless I put it all on ruffled crepe paper)!  I am thinking girlie birthday parties.... showers.... etc.....

On this gloomy Monday morning I thought I would brighten things up a bit!  A party on a roll what a concept!  One more thing I can add to my "for sale" items to help support the Adoption of my Bulgarian Grandson!  I am thinking of all the color combinations plus just plain colors!  Wouldn't white look awesome for Wedding Decor?

 Last nights Dinner Table all ready and waiting for our Small Group Supper!

 AND this morning with some light... I am loving my Burlap Runner I made, but I still say go see my niece Aaron, who makes them and sells them on her Etsy Shop!

Friday Afternoon Pictures

Did I ever tell you I heart white tulips?  Our small group is coming for supper Sunday night, so I thought I would buy some..... I bought two glass vases (one fits inside the other) at Wally World for a total of about $6.00, added some black eye peas to the in-between wall it made and ooooohhhh laaaaa laaaaaa a cheap cool vase!

Oh and yes I made a burlap runner.....  my sweet niece makes runners and sells them on her Etsy Shop..... I thought I would try one.... what a mess.... go buy one from her......  Mudpies and Marigolds

AND remember the laundry room we recently finished and I had made vinyl sign with powder room and pantry?  I found these wooden frames at Michaels and painted them and STUCK them to the door!  Love it!

I needed a couple of belated (yeah I am late) birthday gifts so I used fabric transfer paper to put the eat on the napkins!  You just need to do a flip with the print so it prints backwards for ironing on!  EASY PEASY!

A little project and a vignette or two

While doing a little cleaning today I decided to snap a few pictures...  I made  a little stand for my dish and hand soap....

This little project cost all of about $4.00......

Love, Love, Love Lilacs!  I wish they bloomed all summer!  Things are certainly looking beautiful!  Cannot wait to get started on landscaping!  We will have to plant a lilac bush or two!s
